Why Bimini?
Bimini holds a sacred place in Cheryl’s heart. In 2022, just weeks after her father’s passing, she heard the dolphins' call and journeyed to Bimini, where they enveloped her in healing and comfort.
When the dolphins called again, Cheryl felt a powerful invitation to return — this time to share the experience. With heartfelt gratitude, she now invites others to join her in Bimini's tranquil waters, to unwind, celebrate life, and connect with these extraordinary beings, all while embracing the profound peace of the ocean’s embrace.
Famed Road to Atlantis
Bimini is a sacred sanctuary, known as the "Gateway to the Bahamas."
Steeped in history and natural beauty, it offers a unique energy that promotes healing, reflection, and transformation.
- A Spiritual Haven. Bimini is believed to come from the Taino word for "Mother of Many Waters," reflecting its life-giving, healing seas. The island’s crystal-clear waters and tranquil atmosphere make it the perfect place for personal renewal and deep connection with nature.
- Healing Dolphins. Bimini’s resident dolphins are revered for their wisdom and healing power. Swimming with people for over 20 years, these gentle creatures invite profound emotional and spiritual transformation.
- The Bimini Road: Ancient Mysteries. The Bimini Road, an underwater formation near the island, is believed by some to be the remnants of the lost city of Atlantis.
- Ernest Hemingway’s Bimini. Famed author Ernest Hemingway lived in Bimini for two years where he found inspiration for his novels, Islands in the Stream and Old Man and the Sea.
- A Peaceful Escape. The horseshoe-shaped island is very narrow, so the Retreat Centre located in Porgy Bay is seconds away from the stunning beaches, often deserted, where you can swim, sunbathe and take moonlight strolls.

Atlantic Spotted Dolphin (Stenella Frontalis)
The Atlantic Spotted Dolphin is known for their playful and curious nature. They thrive in the warm, clear waters around the island and love connecting with human pods. Born spotless, their sleek gray bodies develop unique black, dark gray, and white spots as they age.
These dolphins are highly social, often traveling in mixed-age pods. Playful young dolphins, with excited pink bellies, may approach and interact with us, while the older, protective members keep watch.
If you free dive to the sea floor, you might find yourself embraced by a swirling pod of Spotted dolphins, dancing back to the surface in harmony. They also connect eye-to-eye with us at the surface—truly a magical experience!
Bottlenose Dolphin (Tursiops Truncatus)
Larger and more robust than Spotted dolphins, Bottlenose dolphins exude a warrior-like energy, often bearing scars from encounters with sharks.
Over the years, they've been observed with their unique crater-feeding technique, using sophisticated sonar to locate fish buried under the sand. They use powerful tails to dig for prey, rising to the surface to breathe and occasionally connecting with human pods.
Sometimes, we also see amorous Bottlenose males mingling with Spotted dolphin pods, resulting in hybrid "Spottlenose" dolphins.

Accommodations
We will stay in a waterfront retreat centre, where you will be just steps from our catamaran, DolphinQuest, to take us to see dolphins each day.
Nature treats us to a splendid sunrise every morning overlooking the bay. You can walk anywhere on the island, including beautiful white sand beaches and the cute little town.

- All accommodations (Sunday night in Fort Lauderdale and five nights on the island based on double occupancy).
- Boat trips (5 days out weather permitting).
- Most meals (but see what’s not included below).
- Group sessions.
- Complimentary use of kayaks and bicycles.
- Wifi connection, where available.
- Drinking water and hot beverages at WildQuest Retreat Centre.
What's Not Included
- Travel costs to and from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- Travel costs to and from Bimini.
If you choose our recommended Charter company as your carrier, their all inclusive cost is $507 + $99 cash payable at departure from Bimini ($42 Departure Tax + $57 Airport Tax *subject to change). - Crew Gratuities 10-15% of the retreat cost (optional).
- Single room and ocean view room upgrade (optional).
- Sunday night dinner and Monday morning breakfast in Fort Lauderdale and one group dinner out on Bimini.
- All individual body work sessions. The cost is $120 for an hour (optional).
- Rental of snorkel equipment is $30 for the set or $10 for fins only.
- Retreat photos when available $90 (optional).
